Crashdïet is a Swedish glam metal band formed in Stockholm in 2000.

The band has released three albums, Rest In Sleaze in 2005, The unattractive Revolution in late 2007 and Generation Wild in 2010. This is the first hard rock band signed to a major label (Universal Music) in a decade and one of the most popular bands of the genre in northern Europe

History
The first lineup of the band was founded by a 20-year-old David Hellman and later known as Dave Lepard in 2000.

Early
He was the lead singer of the band as well as guitarist, who with three friends wanted to fulfill his dream of getting become a rock star, performed tracks from their idols as Guns N 'Roses and Skid Row. That was the sound like a David and these influences were leaving their compositions. However, this first venture did not last long, for two years, David decided to disband the group for unknown reasons.

Consolidation training
2003 was the year of the real starting point of the group, Dave met at a punk concert with Peter London and decided to reform the band and try to fulfill his dream of becoming a star.

Peter had previously had a group, recruited Eric Young, who had been drummer and later joined them the last member, Martin Sweet, who is responsible for lead guitar, so Peter picked up the bass as an instrument. Dreamz

Olliver output
In July 2008 the group's website confirmed the rumors that Olliver longer a member of the band. In the official statement the other members say that the break with the lead singer is mutually agreed and is due to Twisted could not pursue his two bands, Crashdïet needed a unique singer, also claim in the statement that is not the end of group and to seek a new singer.

Simme comes
In June 2009, almost a year since the departure of Olliver, Crashdïet announces new singer, known as Simme Simon Cross, from the hard rock band, Jailbait. It is like cutting a singer Sebastian Bach.

New Album
